Hi! I'm Lauren. I am an ex-professional tennis player, former collegiate athlete, 2x National Champion, and currently the University of Florida Women’s Assistant Tennis Coach. I am an AFPA certified Holistic Nutritionist, Health and Wellness Coach, a fitness junkie, gluten and dairy-free foodie, adventure seeker, independent soul, Florida Gator forever, and general lover of life!
I have been an athlete all my life. I played college tennis at The University of Florida, then went on to live my dream of playing professional tennis on tour. Fitness, lifestyle, and nutrition has become a big and integral part of my life. I have developed a great passion for how the balance of getting enough sleep, practicing mindfulness, eating right, and working out plays a very important role in how your body functions at your best. Now being off the tour, living more of a “normal” lifestyle, one would say, I have had to make a few adjustments in my daily routines. It is nowhere near perfect, but trying to be the healthiest version of myself every day has paid dividends!
If you follow me on social media, you know I love a good food post, a random video of me working out, or even what I am prepping up in the kitchen. I created Lo-Fitt as a way to share what I do on a daily basis while also maintaining a full-time job. I want to help inspire people to feel their best, and coach you on how to accomplish that. There is no perfect way to eat, or only one specific way to workout. There is no right or wrong here. By providing some help and guidance, whether in a big or small way, that is a win for me!
